There are scores of them at my pond this year, after a really good hatching.

Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
A great capture and that pond looks very healthy.
Wonderful capture as always, the quality never slips, great detail. I remember as a child fishing a pond where these were flying around in their masses, all different colours.. Red, White, Green, Yellow etc.. it was a sight to see, never seen it since. Great shot Andrea.
Very cool shot and great timing.
Great captures Andrea
Great pics, love these damsel flies!!
A superb capture! Their bodies look so angular at times don't they? With the limited joints along its body length. Are they on the Skunk cabbage leaves?
Thir bodies always remind me of native American bead work.
Great capture and colors. Wonderfully done
Seeing their contortions always makes me think of the Kama Sutra. I wonder if they have a similar study in their world? Excellent capture!
So nice contrast blue/green
FANTASTIC SHOT
a tender moment beautifully caught
A really good hatching? So that's what they're calling it now. Quite acrobatic but then love is in the air so you do what you have to do. A superb pair of images. I completely agree with you on the composition of the second image. Brilliant work.
Get a room! Really good composition, clarity, color and lighting in this erotic image, Andrea.
cool
