"To kill two birds with one stone"
question: how ? I did it accidentally ...
(it could also mean: 'to achieve two objectives with a single effort' - also accidentally!)
confused ? me too!
Can you imagine, when I downloaded this pic, as a passenger plane came in to land at Coolangatta Airport, I realised that I got two for the price of one !!!

~HAPPY BIRTHDAY x 2 PRISKA~
There is one person here at Rendo, who likes nothing better, than taking pix of planes and birds (well, I am sure there could be more LOL ) ... so, I like to dedicate this to her - have a wonderful day my friend!
BTW that Seagull could have nearly taken out my eye, if I hadn't worn my sunnies - we both came to a screeching halt ;))

When I see or a similar situation, you either distracted or is no camera on hand. And afterwards get annoyed to have missed this motif. You're a lucky guy and sharing it ..... wonderful
Big Bird meets Big Metal Bird ! I bet that confused the heck out of the Air traffic Controllers, not to mention the passing photographers ! LOL Ace timing and a one in a million capture ! ~Cheers~

That is the biggest seagull I've ever seen. But why is that model plane sitting on top of the tree? Is it Christmas down there?

wow pretty amazing shot!
This is so cool! Marvelous shot! I love the lines of the trees, and the wonderful combination of metal and heart beating flying things. Pretty outline of a cloud in the top right corner too. Lovely shot!
Indeed I'm with Andrea. A stunning gift for our Swiss flying friend! Happy Birthday, liebe Prisca!
nice one!
Well, once again I'm rummaging through your early gallery---2013 to be exact---where no one has been for a few years, and it's dark and quiet, and the floors creak and the wind howls through the windows...I was hoping to see a guard or maybe a mouse, but nada...it's silent and empty. (You should put out some snacks...) Our early galleries need to be swept, lit, cared for. But they're not. They're dark and creaky, with bundles of sage brush rolling by....Anyway, yes, you got a great moment of a plane and a bird, and the plane looks like it's about to take the top of that tree off, and the gull is definitely coming towards you, aiming for your camera. Love the shot. I can see why you're concerned that the gull might ram into you. A witty, crazy serendipitous shot, and those trees seem like guideposts for the flyers. A delightful bday gift for Priska!
I just put in a line---I don't know if it'll work (I'll find out when I post this!), but I like how you divide your comments into sections. So I did it too. Why not, I've never done it before, I think...
