We can now answer the age old question 'Why did the fly fly'? Great shot.

Cool shot
You have a keen eye to spot these little predators...excellent shot!
I love your terminology of prey "Item" What a great way to illustrate the unknown after Mr or Mrs spider has wrapped it up or liquidized it :)
Caught in a web of intrigue!! Super shot Andrea.
Maybe he's caught whoever made the holes in the leaf!!
Well done! Very nice shot.
A link to his web :) Aloha
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Nice green on green. Great sharpness
Excellent capture, Andrea !!
Well spotted!! An excellent capture too. It is an unusual Latin name, does the second word mean like a cucumber? If so it suits the end of his body.
Great capture of this tiny creature and its surroundings
A stellar representation of nature, red in tooth and claw, in this sterling macro of the predator at work, doing what its genes have programmed it to do. And I like the reflectivity and patterns of the leaf, along with the holes.
Beautiful camouflage spot to hide and amazing patterns in the background leaf!
A stunning image. Just one more reason to love spiders. This one is protecting those lovely leaves.
Amazing !
Excellent capture Hugs Susan
I bet the pray couldn't care less what his name is.
