Description
Crushed and alone
I feel the weight of the world
On my shoulders
Life is spinning out of control
And I sit here in my chair
Wishing you were here
I am not afraid of being alone
It is just so lonely
I cry your name
When I am in the dark
But sometimes there is nothing you can do
I am not frightened
By the giant at my door
I just don’t care anymore
He can grind my bones
To make his bread
One slice is all he will get
If I should die before I wake
That will be ok
no worries my friends, I am just playing on the dark side

wonderful work
Very beautiful poem as usual dear Randy, loved it!
Yeah, this is pretty dark but comes the dawn and the sun will shine again. Pretty powerful stuff. So tell us how you really feel. {;->

Very good words I think we've all been there at least once in our lives

Aaaah, I better understands how I could find you on the enlightened side of the "yellow mOOn" lol And more than this I had forgot what a bicycle follower you are... ;-)
Marvelous poem my friend !
A delightful poem!
Artistically pessimistic - I hope such mood should be a rare guest in our minds :-).
I don't come to Renderosity like I use to, got tired of leaving comments and then people taking them the wrong way.... but you're in the running for artist of the Month and I thought I'd check out a piece before I vote for you. our paths have crossed in the past, I'm sure if we both looked through our galleries we'd see each other had visited before.... ....I felt alone this weekend and went for probably my longest walk I've ever taken, so I can relate to these writings - good job... hope you get the AOM - I'm voting for you.
Thank you for those words, they mean more to me than your vote but I am sure glad you voted for me lol. I write from my heart and what I wrote was what I was going through. I hope what you are going through is a short tunnel and I hope there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel waiting for you :)
