Description
Entering and departing Cambodia is not exactly easy. We were coming down the Mekong River from Phnom Penh. When we reached the border with Vietnam the boat pulled over and we scrambled up the river embankment and went through passport control. First Cambodia for an exit stamp and then Vietnam for an entrance check. Both countries require visas. When we were finished we climbed back on the boat (shown here) and proceeded down the Mekong to Chau Doc in the Mekong Delta. It was stifling hot and humid.

This jetty does not look very stable. A superb shot that shows some of the hardships of such a journey.
