When I was born you were there
When you saw me you shed a tear
Thinking I was a boy with no hair
The Dr. said take another look
It appeared I was a girl
Worth a second look
For the many things you have taught me
Two things stick in mind…
One is no matter how old I am
I will always be your baby girl
And two is all guys are pigs
You have worked hard for our family
For us kids to do things most cannot
I greatly appreciate your hard work
For now a days most kids would not
Now with your free time please enjoy
For you are one who definitely deserves
A relaxing time with no disturb
Now for you to know how crazy, creative
And embarrassing you may be
One thing for sure
You are always with me
You will always be my daddy
This is me and my daughter Rachel. you can see why she is the love of my life. she wrote this poem for me and I found this shot I took of us standing in front of a big mirror. she is beautiful
