Description
Trying out a few new rendering techniques. This one kinda reminded me of the art you used to see on Airfix kit boxes.
Bf109 by Bazze and a nice detailed texture so worth a zoom :)
Thanks for looking.
Mike.

Very realistic looking!
nice job putting this one together mike no doubt , 2 thumbs up
Perfect, Mike... awesome in fact... great skyscape... coming to a kitset near you :o)......Nice work with Bazze's 109E... Yep the old Airfix artwork was fab, but definitely not PC for recent times.. ....but their latest works seem to be returning to the Roy Cross style of yore.
Excellent light and sky backdrop! Agreed about the Airfix boxes :)
Very fine picture.
Beautiful work
A fantastic render Mike.
Very nice .. hmm Caroline Munro .. work.
very nice vue of the me109
Superb job!
Quite stunning mate! Really fine, and very detailed render! I love it! Don't you miss those (accurate!) model boxes! The world in denial! A real stunner mate... MORE! Rob
Really nice work. The sky is terrific and really makes for a dramatic presentation. Nicely weathered texture on Bazze's classic. I really like these simple "showcase" renders.
Great job!
Excellent image mate, love the skyscape. What can you say about Bazze's model? 'the original and still best'. The new texture and tropical filter work really well. Agree with everyone re: the box art, I have a book about Airfix that includes a section about Roy Cross and other artists. Roy Cross painted the original cardboard flap instructions stapled to the poly bags before boxes. His original Spitfire and Bf-109E are among the most sort after by collectors.
Comes together fabulously... it really belongs in that sky...wow
Wonderfully done !
beautiful render!
