Secretely, Xam and Amyla called Lord Charles and his best archer Geoffroy to agree upon a strategy.
First, Amyla tells the true story of the twin sisters:
"Our father, King Zark, feeling his death was near, chose me as the future queen. But Zinna, mad with jealousy, called in the powers of the sorcerer Manghor, who transformed her into a ferocious Beast.
The Beast, ridden by the sorcerer, ravaged the kingdom of Zarkhol, until that Manghor, the first time he saw me, fell madly in love with me .... "
Amyla pauses, embarrassed towards Xam ....
"Shortly after, the sorcerer fell seriously ill and, before dying, he casted a spell to enslave us in the form of statues, until Darios frees us and becomes the avatar of Manghor!
You must know that the Beast ridden by him is invincible, but can only act on the night of the full moon! "
The three men understand the need to prevent Darios/Manghor from joining the Beast ......
However, Xam is very worried, Amyla is a queen, and he is a servant, and more, he wonders if Amyla is in love with Manghor .... and more, he fears for life of the one who was his "brother"!
En grand secret, Xam et Amyla ont convoqué le seigneur Charles et son archer d'élite Geoffroy pour convenir d'une stratégie.
D'abord, Amyla raconte la véritable histoire des soeurs jumelles:
"Notre père, le roi Zark, sentant sa fin proche, me désigna comme future reine. Mais Zinna, folle de jalousie, fit appel aux pouvoirs du sorcier Manghor, qui la transforma en Bête féroce.
La Bête chevauchée par le sorcier, a ravagé le royaume de Zarkhol jusqu'à ce que Manghor, la première fois qu'il me vit, tombe amoureux fou de moi...."
Amyla marque une pause, génée vis-à-vis de Xam....
"Peu après, le sorcier tomba gravement malade, et, juste avant de mourir, il jeta un sort pour nous asservir sous forme de statues, jusqu'à ce que Darios nous libère et devienne l'avatar de Manghor!
Il faut que vous sachiez que la Bête chevauchée par lui est invincible, mais ne peut agir que la nuit de la pleine lune !"
Les trois hommes comprennent alors qu'il faut empêcher Darios/Manghor de rejoindre la Bête......
Cependant, Xam est très inquiet, Amyla est une reine, et lui, n'est qu'un simple serviteur, et plus encore, il se demande si Amyla est amoureuse de Manghor....sans compter qu'il craint pour la vie de celui qui était son "frère" !

Une histoire qui se complique et maintient le suspens, et une superbe image avec une très belle lumière pour cette scène d'explications. Personnellement, je trouve le regard du bel archer bien impertinent envers une jeune reine, Xam ferait bien de se méfier ;-) Très beau travail!
