Another in my large file of the 'Triumph of Content over Quality.'
It has been breezy here, and macro pics with a point and shoot are tricky in the wind.
But like Mr Greenbottle, I seized the moment.

Looks like he seized the moment too Andrea. Super shot and wonderful details.
Great Capture.
A fly-by shooting? Could cause quite a buzz! I like the composition, Andrea! Clive
Amazing shot!
Lol superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Fantastic capture and shot
I think point-and-shoot macro photography should be its own genre, since it has such challenges (and rewards) and these rather busy people show that to its fullest. The details are marvelous and these little people are incredibly hearty and a wonderful challenge to photograph. I love the color scheme here...that nice, lively green. I've also found that in daylight shots like this, enabling a point-and-shoot flash brings out some interesting details as well, since the background is both darkened and highlighted in ways that cannot always be predicted. This is a great shot!
Fantastic close up shot of these fly's.
Superb capture, I like the colours.
Fantastic capture Andrea thanks for the chuckle
Very nice capture.
Superb capture
Superb capture of everything involved considering the weather conditions, A.
A great title for this amazing shot! Windy makes macro a pain whatever you try to shoot with. If you have a windbreak in your beach hut it is great for sheltering for macro. A friend of mine has a mini one for taking wild flowers.
SUPERLATIVE CAPTURE!
cool
Mr Greenbottle seems to have no shame, or I guess her charms were just too great to resist!
Good for M & M Greenbottle and a magnificent photo in zoom!
They are a colorful pair and quite acrobatic. Wind or no, this is a smashing image.
Is this what they do on your birthday-party, Andrea? Lots of fun, and "Happy Birthday, my friend". btw: I guess you'll have a busy day, for looking after all your Birthday-cards, and wishes; as you are a favorite for SO many here LOL!
Pure unrelenting lust!
Wow...fantastic photo....
Super find and capture, Andrea :)
hehe, perfect clear Andrea! ... and happy birthday!!
Amazing capture!!
Excellent macro.
I don't have any even THIS good, so I'm suitably impressed! Content and title are priceless. :)
A bit of fly porn.
