Description
A series of works developed in 2003 called "Project Series", the idea behind these pieces is to present a real art media style emulation of surface tension in order to create the impasto and other effects afforded to this technique often been solely the domain of non-digital abstract art for many years. These days the line has been blurred when it comes to real media emulation in the digital domain, although my personal opinion is that it does not matter how art is created it simply comes down to liking things or not, digital being just another media to work not unlike the difference between watercolour, acrylic and oil paints, or using charcoal or pencil or regular photography. There is so much to create with but digital makes it a little less messy and there is no cleaning up after. There are 20 works in the series and if you like this I will post a few others in the coming days.

Nice!
Cool and vivid!! Yes more...
Excelent work !
Definitely vibrant and so exciting ... the layered textures remind me somehow of the time, when we were renovating an old house and laid slate tiles on the lounge-room floor. BB
I do like it very much, but I personally prefer to experience the action and smells etc of actual media when I am making paintings.
