Description

This works for M4 as well. Some of you may already know this. This is for those who don't know it.... Have you sat for long periods of time, fighting to adjust clothing that was made for 3D 16 year olds on mature 3D bodies? Of course you have. We all have. The way around this is so simple it's almost a DUH! moment...and I discovered it sort of by accident. To say I'm happy as a pig in...mud, is an understatement. So, I'm sharing this with you because it's a big time saver and it allows you to use full-bodied figures (up to a point), with very little adjustment. 1. Inject the figure's HEAD and put on their skin, makeup, hair and nails in the Default Position. 2. Do NOT inject the BODY yet. 3. Pose the figure as you want it and make your adjustments. 4. Put on the clothes and "Conform to" V4. Texture clothing as you like. (This way you are 'posing' the hair and clothes when you conform them to the already posed figure...with the exception of skirts, which always have a mind of their own. GOOD NEWS! This works well with stockings!!) 5. NOW, inject the BODY, or dial in the body you want. (NOTE: TURN THE DIALS. Do NOT type in the numbers. Typing in the numbers will result in pokeys after a point.) 6. As long as the body morph isn't too full-bodied (i.e. if it's an 'average' realistic body) there will only be a few minor pokeys, if any. 7. Adjust your pokeys. Turn body to check for others and adjust. 8. Hey! You're done. This is not Erzulie's body but it is her head and skin. I used Cherise's body, because Cherry is a big, curvy girl. I used this outfit because in the past I've fought with it for hours trying to get it to fit. It also lets you see the difference in the original V4 body and the morph. I made exactly two adjustments that took me less than a minute here. In my opinion - that's WAAAYYYYY better. Yes!? You don't even have to remove the figure's nipples if you don't want to. As I said, it works great for stockings too - and that's a big plus in my book! ***** Not like anyone really cares about clothes around here o.O Thanks so much for dropping by and I'm so glad that Zuli's tit was so very popular last evening! Why do I bother with clothes at all???? :) Have a lovely weekend my dears! Ray

Very interesting instructions.....I have no clue as to how to do any of this stuff.....I am always amazed at all the awesome images that so many of you upload here.....you are all very talented and creative artists.....all I know how to do is draw pictures with my computer "mouse"...."lol". I wish I could learn how to create images the way you all do here....it looks so very complicated...it would probably take me forever to learn how to do this stuff.....I guess I'll have to stick with drawing with my "mouse"...and hopefully, I'll be able to get a wacom tablet someday. Great job!!

This is very helpful Ray. I didn't realize that setting the pose first, before inj the body would improve things so much. Very grateful for the help here. Seth

Good advice and might I add the following easy fix. If you got a poke through, you can make the underlying body part of the character invisible. This instantly fixes all pokes in that area. As long as the body part does not extend into an uncovered area this is the easiest fix possible.

Hummmmm - interesting..... I'll have to play with this a bit.. This is a great bit of information, Ray - one of the excellent things about this community is the exchange of information like this. Stockings have always been a headache for me... Not so much, now, but you can bet I'll be playing with this. Thanks for the excellent tip, Ray!

Hmmmm. Interesting indeed. Putting clothes on a female figure, what a novel idea! ;) I have tried this method and discovered it by accident like you and it does often work. However, it does seem to depend on how good the mophs are in the mesh of the clothing. And I have tried Roxy's method too, but as you mention, that does not always work. A lot of my final figures have invisible feet and calves and occasionally upper arms. Thanks for sharing, this is a good tip to share, I'm sorry I didn't, because as Rod points out that is what a community like this is all about.

Nice tip! I usually avoid changing the body just to avoid the hassle of putting clothing on later. Thanks!

Poser Pro 2014 has a "fitting" room that does a pretty decent job....but for the REST of us, this method works well. Thanks for sharing.
