Description
Another new piece, adopting my rediscovered documentation on this technique I attempt to put a new slant on it with the composition breaking up from it's orderly state, creating tensions from the central point of the piece outwards, rather like throwing a stone into a still water lake. Because the order is not equal across the whole composition neither would the breaking up of this order appear to be so. Many have different opinions regarding tension in art, this is but one example of it, another can be in a still-life where maybe objects are close to the edge of say the table and could fall off. Kandinsky presented it well in some of his abstract works too.
