Description

By chance I saw this 'guy' lying for dead in my pond and gave no particular attention to him. After +/- half an hour I perceived him again and thought ... " Why not take a photograph of him ? " Big surprise ... he was still alive ! I placed him on a branch, took the shot and after +/- 10 minutes of rest, he flew off again. Lucky guy !!!

Nice shot! I found one in a similar situation as he was fluttering very near the shore of a stream and might have become fish food. I didn't interfere but he eventually made it to a shallow area and dried his wings and flew off.
