Its so funny this showing lark. I took Miss M for a day out to a show the other Friday, she always enjoys a day meeting mates & seeing what she can cadge off people on the food stalls. Anyway one of my friends who hadn't seen Meadow for sometime & knew of her illness came over & gave her a fuss. She had a friend with her & she explained to her that this was Meadow who had been seriously ill with tetanus over Xmas & New Year & didn't she look well.. The lady looked at Meadow, stroked her & said "& when she gets her coat back she will look lovely"????/
Show people AYE, showing is the last thing on my mind with my beautiful girl who survived what is a very, very rare thing in dogs & cats.
Meadow is lucky, you know what she went through & lucky for her all she lost was a front tooth.
Yes I show my girls BUT they mean more to me than a prize, a bonus if they get one but not the bee & end all for me. Unfortunately not everyone is the same.

Meadow got her life back ... much more important than a coat. She looks so beautiful relaxing in the sunshine. I'm sure you feel every day with her is a precious gift. Meadow wanted to be around to get more of your good lovin'. CC
As far as I'm concerned Meadow has the biggest prize of all - your love! I hadn't realized that she lost a tooth to the disease
She is so amazing to have overcome such a serious and life threatening illness, and how amazing that she is still a big part of your life, what is wrong with these people!!! ??? But oh yes I remember well a lot of the exhibitors at the dog shows when I used to show my dogs! They don't see beyond what their dog looks like, I feel sorry for them as they miss out on so much, but mostly I feel so sorry for their dogs. As for Meadow she is adorable in every way but mostly for her wonderful personality and gentleness, and look how well she is looking these days too. hugs and love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
