Description
this is a acrylic painting on 24x36 inches canvas.
I painted this showing a tame horse and a wild zebra running together.
It very hard to tame a zebra. Guess a few have been but it be rare.
I heard a man say one time he like would think it be cool to have a zebra in his yard eating the grass and then he would not have to cut the grass. he got the zebra and it almost killed him. he just made it to the gate and closed the gate before the zebra got him. he called some people he know that would take the zebra and he give it to them free. A few days later the people called and told him that zebra had just killed two men. He told them that why he got rid of the zebra.
they running in a land of make believe for now. But one day they will for sure run together and will not hurt anyone. just as the lion will eat grass and a child will lead him around with out no worry of getting hurt.

a nice Isaiah-like wish at the end of your story, about the lion and the child...I always thought you'd do abstraction beautifully, and you do. This isn't an abstract---I know---and I don't mean that it is: But it has abstract elements all woven into the painting. But those animals---they're like apparitions rushing through the world, and all the shapes and hues around them are just beautiful. Almost like a stained-glass kingdom, with beautiful lights coming through the air. It's like something seen through many layers of glass. And the quickness of your brush, the swift energies---they harmonize with the horse and zebra rushing by...Yeah, a zebra in someone's home or yard can be dangerous: They look so tame, but when agitated a little, they can kill. A sad tragic story. But the animal doesn't know any better, it's just in the wrong place. A beautiful painting, full of nameless energies, and your always wonderful hues.
