Description
This piece is from a series of works I have created through the years called "The Grotesque Visions Series" it plays on people's perceptions and fears regarding image and biological phobia's and how we may react to deformity and other aspects of the condition. It also ventures into mortality and our insecurities we may have about the prelude to death or the very moment of death. Other works in this series include "Mad Passions" and "Morbid Anxiety", I may upload another at some stage called "The Pain Game" it sometimes underlines the simplest aspects when maybe we look in the mirror and feel too ugly to leave the home today or the very aspect of deformity through disease or war injury.. behind it is still the same person. This piece was slightly inspired by Francis Bacon and Otto Dix.

Like the way you did this!
Stunning !
Interesting. I really like a lot of Dix.
The two others I mentioned above are posted in the gallery but earlier on, I posted those before I fully returned, at that time nobody actually knew I was back here. I may post another in the series tomorrow, it's unlikely I can post all of them up as some may break latest rules regarding graphic violence.. a piece called "Suicide Heartbreak". I had a piece taken down last year which had previously been accepted as fine.
very dramatic art work
Amazing artwork that stimulates the thinking!
