Description
Captured exactly one year ago, 5/11/12, mid noon, on the windy slopes of the Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
After all that hiking, ideal spots to take a load off and rest your feet. Maybe some lizards, but no insects in the underbrush.
A ZOOM, as usual, is recommended.

They've really done a nice job getting this place spiffed up for the public; I like those basic benches using natural planks, they fit nicely into the surroundings. Excellent captures showing the scope of the views from this wonderful sanctuary, Harry. Well done!
Oh wow, you're making me homesick with these fotos. I rode my bike all over those wetlands, and along the wonderful boardwalk at the beach. One of the things I miss most about HB. Thanks for the memories!!
Where there is vegetation there are insects, but it could be backbreaking looking for them! So those seats could be very useful. I like the benches and your pics.

That spot looks so familiar to me, I am almost certain I have been there, I did have an aunt that lived in Hunting beach years ago.. beautiful area.
