HI THERE VEDES! Hey there is someone who says he knows you and wanted me to send a letter to you and to a few select others. Their name is Shao Hsing Lee...I guess you've chatted with before because /he or she/ likes your work and wanted to hire you and me to help make a rock opera...the letter he wrote is here... _________ To VEDES, My name that you would know me as at Renderosity.com is J.Michael Piper. I know you've seen my work, and commented on one of my works here on Renderosity, but I have been given the opportunity to be a big part of a project that in simple terms is for the production of an animated feature length musical Rock Opera entitled, "The Garden", which will, when finished, be a fully made movie for major movie theaters. Your name was given to me as an A-List of people someone asked me to get ahold of first for this project, so that's the reason I am contacting you. There is an hourly rate of pay of $12.50 an hour and you could be working as much as 30 to 40 hours a week. This first short sequence we've been asked to produce is a feeling out process. If we deliver it in a timely fashion and produce a good quality piece of animation, it's been promised to me that the pay rates can be renegotiated. Please keep in mind that this is an indie film production so there's no giant Hollywood budget available. But there will be some other benefits in terms of learning all aspects of the film making process over the next year, if you choose to get involved. A non-profit film school is being established in the virtual world of Second Life for this purpose. Classes will be free, and students will have access to a large number of resources and audiovisual tutorials.
