Description
.....as opposed to concrete jungle.
A potpourri of chairs, tables, umbrellas and their elongated shadows dominate this outdoor food patio, adjacent to a string of fast food shops, themselves adjacent to an AMC movie complex, captured 4/28/13, in the very early morning, less than a mile from my humble haven.
Better detail via ZOOM.
I've posted similar pics of the patio before with its display of moveable furniture and their ever changing shadows.
Au revoir, and have a nice day.

NIce pic and clever idea for the title, Harry
Nice shadow work and lighting variations. Great capture:-)
What a fascinating maelstrom of stainless steel and aluminum lines and curves; the shadows are wonderful! Well spotted and captured, Harry!
What a marvelous image my friend, superb camera angle and lighting! Loved it a lot! ********
nice play of shadows!
at least it looks well cared for.
Looks a nice place to relax and sip a coffee or a huge pint of beer! lol Rob
I'm going to have to stop for now, but I'll be back again to comment on more. But I figured ending on this was fitting because it's a jazz performance with dance. I agree with Andrea, and I like the word "maelstrom" from Denise. Yeah, I'm sure it would be a nice place to relax with coffee and a beer (Rob), but the magic of photography is that it looks like we're entering into a massive furniture fight! You took a pedestrian sight and gave us a tangle of whooshing lines and shadows, harsh contrasts, hard and soft shadows (the soft ones coming from the sun going through the table tops), and criss-crossed with the lines of the pavement itself. A big fugue! All bathed in more intense early light that, at times, seems almost liquid. A real assault on the senses which, without people, looks like a big family argument---between chairs and tables---before the patrons show up. Just love it. I'll be back for more, but, as it's almost 3:45 in the morning, I think I need to stop as this pic may keep me up till noon! A wonderful cacophony of visual music from your never-sleeping eye...
I love shadow captures like this one. Ironically, I was just reviewing a similar shot from my gallery posted in October 2006.
