Description
I love my new camera. Purchased a used Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II. Built like a tank with incredible color files straight out of the camera. The only drawback I've seen so far is the loss of reach with my lenses since it has a full frame sensor. It does seem to work well with my 300mm f4L attached with a 2x teleconverter. This is one of my first shots with it taken right outside my apartment.

lovely bird
Nice capture.
Exciting to have new kit! I do love these birds: we have a variety of Waxwing which migrates to the UK in cold weather.
A lovely shot of a bird I have yet to see in my area.
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Very nice shot! I guess the question is how much did you have to crop? There is good detail here but how big was the initial image? Also, it looks like you used a 1.4 extender not the 2.0, right?
Fantastic closeup !!!
