Description
And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bejewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.

You know, its not easy to creep me out, Seth. This is disturbing on several levels... So of course, I love it!

Excellent work! Poe would be proud.
Wicked!!! This is very dark - but beautiful in it's darkness... Ooooooo - now if I can just get these goose-bumps to go away...
Poe was a crazy human but loved his tales. This is an awesome image representing the tale. You've created a dark mood/atmosphere with this image.
A fitting (if not creepy) image/homage to Mr. Poe's work, Seth! What's creepy about it is it doesn't look like the Middle Ages but here and now. And so you have given us all the chills once again.
I've read everything Poe ever wrote. I love his style. This is just so creepily awesome.
Fantastic tribute to Edgar Allen Poe!!!
