Description
My very good friend Simon, who is busy rebuilding a 1950s shaft-drive Sunbeam 500cc motorcycle, originally described as a gentlemans motorbike. He is carefully cleaning and logging every part and in essence writing his own manual to go with it. I almost sound as if i know what i am talking about, but i only take the pictures

Love the skin texture Alan and a great B&W.
interesting composition B&W ad the vintage feeling of that bike
Captures the feel of an honest days work, dirt and grime under the finger nails ect. Tells a story, excellent photo!
works well in black&white
A masterly shot!
This looks so good. It's like one of those images from the annual Time-Life Magazine. It's just perfect.
An intriguing and unique pov in this cool image. Took me a minute to figure out what I was seeing! Lots of fun!
Excellent B/W work.
What a wonderful POV here; great in B&W!
I had a friend who was doing similar with a 1958 Vincent . Great shot and perfect for black and white
Excellent image! I love the style and the composition and the feel of it. REALLY fine work!
Wonderful shot in B&W!
Lovely pic.
A masterful image of the mechanic's craft. Wonderful light and shadow and texture. And the bonus here, saving a vintage bike, doing God's work.
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
SUPERLATIVE WORK
It is super cool. 5+!
an awesome macro shot, nice story as well!:)*5
interesting picture erland
Such an interesting picture :)
"I almost sound as if i know what i am talking about" - laughed out loud at that ! Sounds like a fascinating project. Sunbeam 500 sounds so much better than "Honda CBR 500" :)
all that work for an old sunbeam... cool and great b/w shot!
I hope we get to see the finished motorcycle.
