Description
Another look at the Giant Bird of Paradise bloom. I like the play of color in this composition. It's one of those shots, that just caught my eye, and the more I looked at it the more I liked it. It's something about the softness and colors.
My previous upload, In Love Delight.
Thanks for stopping by :)

I can see how and why this grabbed you. It's a marvel: nearly abstract, nearly concrete, and slightly mysterious. If you hadn't said what this was, I wouldn't really have recognized it, though I might have guessed "one of those flower things" at the very least. The colors are super, and I love the way color and shape seem like one-in-the-same. I'm especially drawn by the warmer, toasty-brown/near-golden tones that seem like rocky (slender) islands in a dancing sea. This works wonderfully.
wonderful result !
I, too, think this is cool. Love the softness!
Sensual and delicious!
This is gorgeous! I'm loving your very-close-in flower shots. All line and form and color ... beautiful!!
Superb capture. God bless.
Yes, a lovely blend of softness and color in this marvo macro, Melinda.
what a unique shot... :)
Wonderful Work!!!
This is simply stunning and just a small part of the flowering section of this 'big bird' - believe it or not, I have several of these growing in my huge garden, they are almost 6 metres in height and still growing - nearly out of control ... this particular white one is the: Giant BOP - Strelitzia Nicolai, gorgeous colours indeed! thanks for sharing this abstract ;)) BB
wonderful close up, great color tones.
