Description
The storm has passed
And I have made it
I don’t know how
Or why
But I have made it
The great wind
The tormentor of my mind
Architect of my fears
Has seen fit to let me live
And I can see the light again
It is still in the distance
But I can see it
I am grateful for the light
But it showcased the hypocrite in me
In my hour of need
I prayed without ceasing
But now
Now that the storm has passed
I will slip back to the same old me
My friend John called me yesterday and ask me why I haven’t posted in so long. I told him that I just didn’t really feel like posting lately and he told me he didn’t care if I wanted to post or not he wanted me to post something. John is a good friend and a bit of a groupie ha ha. Well I didn’t have anything in mind yesterday but last night we had one of the worst wind storms come through that I have ever seen. The wind blew so hard I put on headphones laying in bed so I could go back to sleep. The good news is it helped give me something to write about lol. So this is for John. Thanks buddy and thanks to everyone for your support

wow...great poem...we had a storm as well and they where calling for bad winds but fortunately it passed us...just mainly needed rain...awesome poem and i understand the not posting. sometimes I've just got other things going on. i try though and it's good to get someone to motivate you... chills and thrills
