Description
The next day, Martan took Raaij to a different room and Lillain accompanied Shaih to another. Both, they later learned, were similarly equipped with all sorts of what the Gods called "machines" and smaller items they referred to as "equipment." They were told that these things were tools that they would use to try to re-create their dead children. The Gods did some odd but seemingly harmless things to them so they could "map their DNA"--whatever that meant. Sounded like magic mumbo-jumbo to Raaij, but who was he to question the Gods--even if they do eventually die like everybody else.
A few days later, the Being couple were told that Martan and Lillain had successfully started growing the two babies in what they called vats. By then, Raaij and Shaih knew what vats were but the notion of babies in such things still puzzled them. "It's not so different than growing them in the bodies of females," Lillain explained; "just much, much faster."
A full Cycle of the Moon later, the Gods brought the Beings to yet another room. This one had huge transparent vats and floating within the glowing liquid of two of them were two small grubs. This one is your daughter"," said Lillain, pointing to the Vat to the left. "And this one is your son." She pointed to the one on the right. Raaij stared in wonder at Shaih; and she back at him. It hardly seemed possible that these tiny things would grow into their children.
"How long before they become?" asked Raaij.
"In about two more months--what you call, 'Cycles of the Moon,'" answered Martan.
What the Gods called "two months" passed. Raaij and Shaih went regularly to check on the developing fetuses. Toward the end of that time, the individual features of their son and daughter became recognizable.
Shaih placed her arm across the back of Raaij's shoulders. "It really is them, isn't it?" she breathed out, struck anew by the enormity of what she was seeing each time. They remind me of when they were born the first time.
"Yes. That is definitely Jainen's nose."
"And there's the birthmark on Hotha's left arm." Shaih squeezed her mate's shoulder. "It truly is them!" This time her tears were of joy.

CORRECTION! I erred when I said below that BAR-CODE's freebie, Power Tower, could be obtained at ShareCG. You can find it in Renderosity's Freebie Section. I try to be accurate about these things but sometimes I just screw up. Thanks, Chris, for reminding me.

This one was as easy to do as the last one was difficult. Hallaluyah!! Thanks for the kind comments re my renders and storytelling. Always encourging to hear such. The story is not done yet, but it's getting there. Alwys appreciate your stopping by for a peek. May I suggest that you ZOOM this one? There is a lot going on that is very difficult to see in the small version. Think you'll find it worth it. Regards, Jeremy CREDITS: Equipment: BAR-CODE's "Power Tower" (ShareCG) behind the table and on it is DAZ's SciFi Cylinder 3." Aliens: Midnight Stories "Kaytox" and "Kaytex" (Renderosity). Fetuses were created by me using same figures. Bubbles: "Air Bubbles" and I can't find where it came from. Know it isn't Renderosity, DAZ, or RDNA.
