I've been reading Belgareth the Sorcerer by David & Leigh Eddings. One section refers to the dryads, they are a tiny race of females only, so at certain times of the year when they come into " season ", any male traveller who happens to wander near their forest is waylaid at arrow point until he promises not to run away. After that they become very friendly and take him back to the camp and pamper him and he becomes a sex slave passed from one sister to another. They don't mind sharing. It's not clear what happens after the season is finished, could be off with his head.
