Description
The Lansdowne Bournemouth.
It doesn't seem more than a year or two since that went up!
Built in obsolescence is the order of the day, I suppose.
The red veins and the stripey wrapping attracted me.

beautiful lines, the red veins keep your eye fixed!!
Nice shot and a great zoom.
I love the colors !
The waste disposal chutes really make this " block " look slightly organic. Well spottedand captured! A very keen photographer I know said never miss a photo with an out of place red object in it. They win competitions! He always had a police cone in his boot too!
What are those red pipes for they really make this building stand out great shot.
Very cool capture Andrea
Nice Capture,
It sure raises some curiosity... Interesting shot. Aloha
a very active scene
I like it that they wrapped the building in a pattern ... it could just as easily have been all tan or all blue. I like seeing this!
Like the shoots for the rubble :O)
Yea, in that way nothing can be dropped on people :) Excellent photo :)
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
superlative work!
They do look like arteries. I'm waiting for some giant doctor to arrive with a scalpel. It looks like something peeled off the side of the building. Excellent capture. Very well seen.
Awesome pic of the modern boulevard and all of its trappings, Andrea. The red arteries really pop out against the rather sedate background of the buildings.
I like the stripes and pipes combination too. Those trash pipes do save a lot of time from lugging that the construction waste down stairs.
Just like the veins in the human body, removing the waste to the liver "trash bin"! Excellent capture. You'll have to shoot it when it's done!
Seems odd to be rebuilding so quickly. We never wee this happening here, they tear down and build from scratch. And nothing sees its normal lifetime. For example, we have a perfectly good arena in Edmonton but still a process is underway to create a huge new arena at great cost to taxpayers. It is just insane!
Not quite as much fun as throwing stuff straight into the skip but a lot safer.
