there seems to be high theft on our military bases so why not bike parts. a sign of the times
As a dedicated bike rider, I cannot help but wonder what is going on in the minds of these bike owners. the Mongoose is a very spendy bike. the other bike, I'm not too sure of who makes it, but these bikes need a bit more than what they have to secure them....quite frankly, they shouldn't be allowed to own anything like this until they learn some responsibility
Robbed and abandoned from the looks of it. Sad to see it is a problem on something supposedly as secure as a military base...

Guy got on his bike in Phoenix, rode to San Diego to get out of the heat, got to the beach and kept going! He's probably on San Clemente by now. :)
The one on the left is being stripped of anything useful day by day. Come back in a week or so and only the frame will remain.
