Beautiful!!! Like it.
Something out of The Lord of the Rings, great find.
The old guardian of the woods or the Witch of Otterford! Excellent POV and shot Alan.
wonderful !
Drenched in moss! Great find..one to investigate...
hahahah... brilliant. This is a one of a kind find! Very Good.
Works well at 456x768 tiled as a background on my laptop. Great monster!
What a cuddy treestump!
Incredible subject and shot!
very cool capture
Nice find and capture Alan, I like this shot a lot.
Wow, an abundance of moss & large, very cool fungi that I can imagine being a strange alien beast - great find & capture. The one very tiny little thing that bothers me is that the very top of the stump is cut off - seems like backing up a foot or zooming out could have fixed that...
Great capture of the Lesser Blackdown Green Yeti, my friend. Was it sleeping, or did you ply it with strong drink to pose for you .. ;o) Warm regards, from a frozen Glasgow, John.
A very cool capture. Bigfoot's green cousin?
Wow! What a capture! It DOES look like some giant monster rising up! Glad you had your camera!
cool find!
A tad spooky mate!
an outstanding phot capture, does look like some kind of creature sitting, excellent shot!:)*5
SUPERLATIVE IMAGE
really a wild growth. superb shot
Splendid composition and colors my friend
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
It's life indeed, a symbiotic growth of great beauty! Lovely capture!
Looks like a sitting sloth contemplating whatever is in its hand.
Excellent , did you find the Dog Graves?
Looks like a monster in the forest
Ah! A rare green-back gorilla. Well...that's what I saw...this is, most definitely moss doing its best impersonation of a great ape in the sort of contemplative pose that only an ape could manage (how ironic that we look down on them and yet they can reach apparent depths of profundity that our most brilliant philosophers strive to achieve, only fleetingly.) I love the rich greens in this shot and the wonderful textures, dips and curves. This is brilliantly seen and captured.
Brilliant find.
Definitely a Yeti. In the damper climated their fur/hair becomes a home for mossed to the point that they look just like this one. It happens to sloths, too. Amazing capture!
This is such a cool photo Alan and it does look like a green monster! And a super look at the excra large bench mushroom!
