Description
hi to you all...hope things are great for all of you. today with my image i will tell a little story of how i built this blue bird house for my sisters' property which is more in the country,,,it's kinda boony...like scary movie like the people here are kinda like cultish and they really like their guns and have very little education. it is a very close minded place. it is the area i grew up in which the countryside is beautiful but the people are a little 'cult'tish'..is that a word...as a spiritual being it is strange for me to consider one of the deadly sins being practiced by a mere reptilian 'bird'. do you know this bird? it is the state bird of the state i reside in. they are rather large birds and makes lots of noise and they will badger other birds. Fortunately the hole is too small for mr envious to get in so oh what a shame as i smile. he still has to light on the house and wish he could go in but he must move on...this house is much too good for him. preecher built this house for a very special bird...will one or 2 move in???or will a smaller bird than this come along and steal my beloved birds' house...stay tuned...

a beautiful bird and capture
oha.people with very little education and lots of guns a fine "Mixture"so to speak hehehe. but then the most abominable deeds are done by educated/intelligent people,i am more afraid of a "White-shirt"with a greasy slimy smile than by a gun carrying redneck or whatever you want to call, him/her.,
Lovely bird, very nice capture!
I too have built nest boxes for the Mountain Bluebird as we have a very active program in Alberta to help restore them. The main problem is the English Sparrow which some saw fit to bring to North America. They unfortunately can get into the box and they often kill the bluebirds and build their own nest right on top of the dead bodies!
