Description
The Spaniards once sent heavily-armed galleons laden with Mexican silver across the wide Pacific to their trading outpost of Manila, at the doorway to mysterious Cathay. Now, skip forward a century or two. The clouds of war are brewing over Asia, and the United States of America is deploying these gleaming machines called "flying fortresses" westward to the Philippines. But alas, all they are likely to buy with this "silver" is some time...
