But Miss Taylor exists in our MADHOUSE collection of cinema celebrities … along with the Madonnas, Mae Wests or Monroes … famous names still alive in the minds of image makers; not just the reality of camera lenses or the capabilities of computers. EXAMPLE … This Cleopatra. Her background isn’t Egypt or the River Nile. It’s in the mind of the maker. Her head dress and gown aren’t actual period pieces [created by Edith Head]. They express artistic license. Still Cleopatra and LIZ live on through the choices creativity creates. As all of you who work art know so well. Facts are often poetry.
