Beautiful shots! I'm always taking sky pictures at work. We get some really wonderful skies in Texas. I hadn't heard of Mackerel skies. My thoughts will be with you and Bill on Monday. I hope it goes well.
Yup .. it's the cloud patterns, similar to the patterns on a mackerell very cool cloud shots
