If the bots do all the work and the humans have nothing to do then there'll be trouble. People need jobs and work to keep them out of mischief; they get bored easily ... No good begging for food or money from metal workers who need neither! Great picture.
Cool scene! This seems to be a popular theme for Scifi. The Matrix, Battle star galactica to name a few use this story.
