Description
I thought he looked pretty sinister in this pose, though the snow on his nose makes him a bit comical. He's one of the acorn woodpeckers who hangs out in the tree outside my living room window, making occasional trips to the bird feeder attached to the deck...

Chucky of the forest-Brilliant
You are fortunate to have such a colorful visitor regularly, nice shot!
A lovely shot and it does have an evil eye look.
Excellent work, I like the strong diagonal!!
Fantastic capture!
OMG u caught this look just right but when i first saw this i had to laugh at it thanks so much for this image really perfect.
Looks like he is zeroing in on your feeder! They can be annoying if the decide to hammer something near your house.
Very cool and creepy bird
I think he's just baffled by the huge cyclops that keeps appearing in the window when he visits! Great shot!
i love the red headgear
ANGRY BIRDS!!! are angry.
Fantastic colouring! He says "I'm watching you, pal"
Superb bird and wonderful capture!
Hee hee! He's been mining for coal to keep the fire going for his warmth :)
Wow, fantastic. You caught him just perfect. Really incredible focus, just look at those beautiful textures on the snow covering the lichen. The dof really brings the bird into a clear focus too. Great shooting.
TERRIFIC CAPTURE
He does seem to have a bit of an attitude...great find and shot!
Wonderful work!
A lovely shot erland
LOL...Love it! Aloha
He does look a bit menacing, although I think he's a big fake. That stare has no will behind it. :P Love the diagonal of the branch, and your composition is terrific!
Oh...is he cute, and what a fantastic photo!!!
Superb shot! He does look evil and comical at the same time.
Super capture,excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great capture!
If I was out in the cold, and my nose was frozen, would not be smiling precisely those inside and warm. Excellent capture!
A very funny photo - I laughed out loud - sinister looking but fantastic colors against the snow!
