A Winter Flower... by KarmaSong

Winter is still there and the lack of light often weighs me down, but there's nothing more beautiful to observe than the slow awakening process of the first flowers of the year. The neighbourhood around here is still covered with heavy snow, trees and passers-by are still numb with cold, but more and more hyacinths and snowdrops are slowly reaching the surface and holding their buds up high, lifting the crust of snow that was keeping them hidden from view...After sleeping so long, they now want to enjoy the rare light beams that soon will usher in the dazzling coming of Springtime...

You say it so perfectly and with so much grace and beauty! So much snow here as well, and although the sun shines today, there is more snow on the way forecasted for the next while... this is inspiring to look at, and has such a warm glow! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
