Hope you enjoy my latest Capture of Cody just after putting out a road kill dear.
Thanks for all the comments and special thanks for the favorites.
Dropped off some road kill dear for Cody on the property and he got a little angry when I tried to get closer for a shot. Whatever you do when your confronted by an angry grizzly don’t run even though that is you’re first thought. Try not to look him in the eyes and back off slowly after you get your heartbeat back

Oh my! I think you are lucky he had to road kill to distract him! These bears are incredibly fast! I would never have gotten this close, except with a very powerful zoom lense! Incredible photo though! Most excellent!!!!! And exciting!

You did the right thing Marty - backing off and eyes down! that actually works with a few other animals as well - having watched many documentaries and from my own menagerie here on our 3 acres, of course they are much smaller animals e.g. Water-dragon, That is his territory now, he is the Alpha-male and he comes first! - and he didn't want to share it with anyone, not even his friend - not yet! ;) BB
