Description
this was my mother's birthplace and only the other day i learnt the possible origin of the name. The farm is in the boundaries of a 14thc deer park and to feed the deer in winter holly was grown in great profusion and it's thought 'hollin' is a corruption of 'holly'!

Great postwork - love the soft colors & graininess...
A lovely capture and great postwork. I would have thought the holly would be too tough for the deer to eat.
