Description
I was so pleased to get this in the garden today. I also had Waxwings and a Mistle Thrush in with the Fieldfares!! A truly memorable day for a birdwatcher. Seeing all three together from my bedroom window. This one came the closest. Due to all the snow in the shot, I was able to get a HUGE file under the upload size. So this should be a MUST FOR ZOOMING if it holds the detail when compressed.

Absolutely astonishing image, Kevin! What a pic, and also what a gathering in your garden! I have just done my Chilterns order, exciting!
Superb capture my friend. God Bless.
Super, super photo.
Fantastic shot. I like the non-zoomed version for the composition, which is beautiful & the zoomed version for the amazing detail on the feathers...
wow you can see the land in the eyes
Both sizes are excellent.
Wonderful capture and composition!
very nice capture!
Another bird I never heard of...and what a little beauty! The apple in the snow is a luxury, I'm sure! The white really sets everything off nicely!
superb
Smashing shot, I would love to see these and waxwings in London, but sadly no :(
