I really thought they were human Andrea. Excellent capture.

Tripped me up a bit as well Thought you had found some poor person who was trying to dig out of a grave

This is a disturbing image. I love it.

I was shocked at first. Super shot!

Awesome Discovery & Capture!I have seen my share of dead moles but never quite this human like!

I thought how spooky! Like you have found a witch's larder of spell ingredients. The nails are very long making it look like long human fingers. That and the fur missing from the backs of the paws, gives a shiver creating image.

Very theatrical, Andrea, scary! Clive

Wowser!! I thought, Neanderthal...

GOSH! I thought it was human hands. They are sure similar to out. Excellent shot.!

this is an astounding sight and a rare one at that. As mentioned its uncanny how alike a moles paws are to our own.

wow you took a very good shot. i thought it was surreal intill I read what you wrote.

Just for a second I thought you had found a body they look so human, I sometimes find them in the field after summer if we get heavy rain and the field floods.

I thought you finally found a BigFoot. LOL.

Hands/fingers similar to those of us homosapiens? I don't know what the big surprise is. We are all related in the animal kingdom. Experiments are perpetually performed on mice, pigs, rats, rabbits, dogs, apes, and monkeys in order to create drugs and such for the treatment of human ailments. In any event, the hands in this awesome image appear to be that of a mummified human.

Like something out night of the living dead ... it is a little eerie, isn't it?

ooooh! delightfully eerie! you could've saved this for Halloween!!

Elementry Watson!! er Andrea!! Amazing likeness indeed. Awesome find, thanks for sharing.

Yowzers..........

This is truely bizarre. At first I thought it was a photo manip. Then I thought they were human fingers with manicured nails. What a find.

Wow, this is pretty intense Andrea!

wow, the are so like our hands. Great shot but not so good for the lil mole.

Gosh those hands looks like human hands. Superb capture Andrea. God Bless.

Oh this really freaked me out this would be great for Halloween and i would love to see a pic of ur dresser so please either send it to me or post would be great.

cool ! at first I thought the hands were human

I thought you had found a prehistoric human. All you usually see of the moles are their hills of earth.

Spooky indeed...years ago I had a cat who brought a baby mole into the house to "play" with. That is the only one I have ever seen!

simply an amazing capture

gosh, how creepy, first i have seen human hands!,, what a great found and pictur Andrea, and it looks so strange and amazing! mamma mia! ;)

Great image Hugs Susan~

I don't even know if we even have moles in Chicago! Let alone moles with almost humanoid appendages. I must say that this is a wonderful, deliciously alien photo, in that it probably causes very strong reactions in some. For me, it's quite fascinating, and it made me think of the mummies I've seen over the years. It's always odd at what actually gets preserved when one mummifies...sometimes, there's radical damage, but then two hands and one foot would be so perfectly preserved that they might look as if they've been stitched onto the body. Funny how that works. I thought of that when I saw this image and for just a wee, brief second, I thought this was a mummy of the more human sort...some prehistoric person found in a suddenly dislodged and thawed glacier. Brilliant!
