Description
Netherlands and esp. The Hague at the sea has winters that last about 1 to 2 weeks a year.. -the influence of the warm ocean keeps the country "warm" (above freezing) most of the time, but when the wind turns and comes from the east we get a mini winter and these mini winters are magical...

the water doesn't look frozen - take your boat out - lol.... only two weeks out of the year you get snow? wow. It starts snowing here in colorful Colorado toward the end of October for at least the next 6 months... but, during the time, it's not unusual to have temps in the 60s, 70s and you'll see people walking around in shorts - lol I went shopping last year and it was about 70 and a half hour later there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground and it was blowing in sideways... it was funny to see people walking out of the store with shorts on - lol
Great photo Chris, it does look super cold there even if it is only a couple of weeks out of the year
