Description
Sinus Sabaeus, Mars.
I entered this image into the E-on 2012 Environment Challenge. I have had a seed to create a Mars image in my mind for years now and I wanted to create an image for the challenge that was a little bit different - big mistake. I have always found that my best work comes easy, and this one I constantly struggled with, and I think it shows.
A nice concept, but it just doesn't have that spark for me. A concept I will visit again - my goal: the ultimate Mars image.
Vue Infinite 6.6, Photoshop (minor adjustment and sharpening).

Beautiful render!
Look great! Very realistic!
Looks pretty good to me!
when you look at all the images curiosity rover you find that mars looks like a quarry site somewhere on earth, with just a colour tint :-) so dont be too hard on yourself,if your goal is realism then you are very close, not sure if sky is accurate, but i think the most striking mars pics are the ones with a bit of artistic license thrown in :-)
cool
