Description
For all Wrath of Khan fans, you will know what this image is all about.
For everybody else, this is my recreation of a scene in the movie, Star Trek The Wrath of Khan where the Enterprise and the Reliant are playing a dangerous game of chicken in the Mutara nebula.
This new Enterprise model produces easy results! I'm really enjoying it! I hope you will enjoy the renders that come of it as well!
The Reliant in the distance is a super duper quicky model I built from the Enterprise model in the foreground. If you look carefully, you can see that it's very poorly detailed. Regardless, it works here.
I rendered the Reliant and the background separately (with a spot light giving off the volumetric shadow). Then I rendered the Enterprise and a fog primivol primitive in the final version you see here.

Bravo!
There she is! There she is! Ah... not so wounded as we were led to believe. So much the better! Let them eat static. [Kirk remotely commands Reliant's shields to drop] Our shields are dropping. Then raise them!!!! [pounds fists on console] I can't!!!! The override. Where's the override? Outstanding Recreation From Star Trek!....Like looking at a still frame from the movie itself!
