Description
In 1845 they closed the Heerengracht (Gentlemen's or Wealthy men's canal) in Den Haag (The Hague) after Cholera plagued the city and the dirty canals were a reason for it.. (this city has no river and all canals were men-made and very still standing water, as the new canals towards the sea were not ready yet)
After last night's heavy rain the canal returned a bit ... and the buildings reflected in the water like some used to do.

Great photo
nice shot
Les rides à la surface donnent l'impression que s'il ne pleut plus, le vent va ramener de nouveaux nuages de pluie.
