Wow--that's SOME plane--and those bombs...yikes!!
This one seems threatening than the last. I love that you included the bombs.
Haven't seen one of there in a while. Cool plane and photo.
Sweet shot from looking down the nose cone. when i was a teenager, i had built and hand painted over 150 , 1/72 scale model air planes. this was one of them. my grand parents in maine took me to the owls head transpertation musium where we seen a f111 and then baught me the kit. Then back at their place, grandpa helped me build it. i some times wish i still had all those models, especialy that one. thanks for the memories inspired by this shot
Everything is so clean and pristine here but the other end of the application is so stained and shattered. Underneath the sleekness it is still a killing machine, yet it is so appealing. The epitome of mixed emotions.
A great pic but not a pleasant object.
this looks lethal
Superb capture my friend. God Bless.
wonderful capture
Great capture of flying death
Famous (at least in the UK) for its fuel dumps.. (Look it up on youtube folks!!) A fantastic aircraft, retired early I think, both in your Air Force and the U.S. They used to be based near me at RAF Lakenheath.. Great shot! Rob
Thanks for sharing.
A cool aircraft. According to one of our pilots that flew them back in the UK (when he was stationed there), with a little tweaking they hit about 1,800 mph.
Zoom but don't "dump and burn..." I still remember them like it was just last year or so... oh thats right, I think it was last year they stopped flying here in Australia...??? We like to get our money's worth!
This place is a wonderful find Andrew and a great shot!
