Sometimes, when things look their worst they suddenly get better from the most unexpected quarters. It required some 'good faith' and believing that there are still some generous souls on our part, but we weren't disappointed. Are we here now? Yes, we are. How we got here was one of Xavier's pet projects that is highly secret. Let's just say it required believing it would work and we wouldn't all be 'lost in space' somehow. We've all gotten settled in to our respective abodes and been generously supplied with everything we need, since we had to pretty much leave everything behind...except for small personal things we didn't want to lose. We all have our job assignments and will begin soon. What are they? Most of us are going to be training people to do 'most' (but not all) the same things we can do. Myself and Frank will be training in our respective martial arts, on-site intelligence gathering and tracking (me), Chemistry 101 and Electronics 101 (Frank). Sarah will be teaching ballistic weapons. Deni will be teaching climbing, gymnastics, and yoga breathing/exercises. Daniella - assertiveness training, and confrontational tactics. Bart will be training unit commanders and be the teams' psych-man. Jed will be training in explosives and Architecture 101. You've got to know where to place said explosives for the effect you want. Cherry will become Mr. X's new personal assistant, as the lady who has been his personal assistant (an old family friend) is getting on in years and wants to retire. Red is going to be doing 'evaluations' of recruits and people with issues because he can see what they're really thinking. He's like a human lie-detector. Then they go to Bart for therapy. We 'will' be quite busy. The other good news is: Cat seemed to take a real liking to Jed, and he likes her too...so, now we all don't feel so bad for him. For the time being, we're all very pleased to be somewhere nice, somewhere comfortable and somewhere we can feel like we have a future. Four months ago, when I was still living in a cave I never dreamed this would all happen. I feel blessed by the Great Spirit to have what I do now. And look at my girl! Doesn't she clean up nice?
