Description
This is Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula. It lies between the Olympic Mountains to the south and the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north. If you drive between Port Angeles and Forks, you can't miss it. Carved by glaciers, this lake reaches depths of 600 feet.
I would love to take you to see this place in person, my dear friend, but until we can arrange a trip, this will have to do. It comes to you with much love and best wishes for a most excellent year.

WOW! What a place! What a view! As Corey's kind done with Chicago (more than I am! I'm just bored with it) this would be a great change of pace! This is great! Those reflections are perfect and the hilly mountains are superb. It's like the Three Brothers that always seem to somehow crop up in various Slavic myths. The greenery is so inviting! This is brilliant and a perfect dedication! I'm at Corey's now and so it's perfect seeing this here. He'll see it, probably tomorrow, as he dropped off to sleep before the nitty-gritty bits of Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo revealed themselves. It's gonna be one of those birthday and movie kinda days I think, since the night before was one of those movies and soup kinda nights. Anyway, this is absolutely super!
