a wheel little used i'd say, with all the beauty accrued through age
Stunning capture Andrea. God Bless.
Marvelous capture of this antique. The lichen adds a layer of texture that makes this even more interesting.
It is very well done. I thank for it. 5+!
Such a stunning red is on your pic, Andrea! (and now to the link ;-))
Nice texture and POV. Well done
wow... FAV
SUper beautiful indeed :-)
Very cool capture
VERY COOL
Great Scott, with that rust and green lichen effect I though this was the upper trunk of a tree at first! With nothing in the pic to compare it to sizewise, the wheel looks massive.
Amazing! I like the details and the lichens (at least two breeds?) are really appealing and they cause a great contrast to the color of the mill wheel. The shapes are so wonderful and inviting, except, perhaps, when the wheel is turning. This is brilliant.
It is lovely how the lichen softens the metal and gives it a great effect with the rust.
lichen and moss.. nature's most awesome way of making things beautiful!
Wonderful colors and textures.
There's very little that's better than metal going back to its component parts! This is marvellous.
Excellent photo!
Looks a bit crusty huh must be the ocean air doing that great shot.
Oooh, rust and lichen in the same spot, what a wonderful find and capture!
It will grow on anything!!
nice shot, great colors and texture
I wouldn't have guessed that lichen would attach to rust.
