Description
I've wanted this model for a very long time but as a Carrara user, I have yet to find one that I could import and use (at least one that I liked).
So, I decided to make my own. This is (so far) 100% done in Carrara. I will move on to Rhino for the more complicated components as there are several parts which will require some fairly complex shapes (lots of windws, etc.).
This thing has very few straight lines (mostly curves all over the whole place).
Anyway, this is about 20 hours in. I think I have about 40 more or so.
I made the textures in Paint Shop Pro 9.
It's coming together though.

Look like Constitution Class refit, but details, details...;) Great modeling. A site, Star Trek Australia, once has many model, but have not seen the site recent-like. There are model-maker sites on web, tho. Keep it up...
