As the shuttle nears Earth's orbit it ran into a debris field of space junk. As the flight engineer makes his rounds checking for damage he discovers this rather large hole punched thru the ship's hull. Re-entry would now be suicide. The only hope is if NASA can get another shuttle up to them to transfer the astronauts onto.
It is -34 this morning as I get ready for work. The older I get the less I enjoy these deep freeze temps. I love the snow we get, and when the temps stay around -10 to -15 its good, But once past -30 it is offically in the range I dont enjoy anymore.

Sorry you are cold!! Great post here!! But the problem in Houston today, is it is actually freezing. I know you are laughing. :)

I can tell you from experience that anything with a minus in front is "not" a happy time here for me either Jim.No matter how many layers you throw on the chill finds it's way inside straight to the bones.....Kinda like that engine block on a diesel engine that you forget to "plug in" and fails to turn over in the morning....Though fortunately for a few years here now there hasn't been any winters with a minus in front of the temps...Though I'm sure we are not going to go tropical anytime soon and that Wisconsin isn't immune from them anymore either....(smiles)..
